Elizabeth Everts Greene (1920–1997) famously known as Betty Greene was an American pilot and missionary who co-founded the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). She was the first MAF pilot and dedicated her life to using aviation to support Christian missions, transporting missionaries, medical supplies, and aid to remote locations. During World War II, she served as a pilot in the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), a program that trained women to fly military aircraft to support the war effort.

Johanna Veenstra (1894–1933) was a Dutch-American missionary who served in Nigeria. She was the first missionary sent by the Christian Reformed Church in North America to West Africa. Alongside her colleague Miss Haigh, she established a school and a medical dispensary, providing both education and healthcare to the local people. Through her ministry, many from the Kuteb tribe embraced Christianity. Her pioneering efforts contributed to the formation of the Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN) and the Reformed Church of Christ in Nigeria (RCCN), both headquartered in Takum, Taraba State.

Bro. Epaphras Ghogle (1950-2021) was well-known as a Hebron servant of God. His salvation and full-time service began simultaneously. From that time, with a huge burden, he ministered in various gospel ministries. He travelled door to door to preach the gospel, went on bicycle camps to remote areas, held open-air gospel meetings, and organized nighttime gospel meetings, utilizing every opportunity for the glory of God. Most notably, the special responsibility the Lord entrusted to him was his personal gospel mission. With great passion and dedication, he faithfully fulfilled this responsibility until the very end.

Samuel Marinus Zwemer (1867–1952), known as The Apostle to Islam, was an American missionary to the Middle-East dedicated to evangelizing Muslims. He co-founded the Arabian Mission in 1890, focusing on spreading the Gospel in the challenging regions of the Middle East, particularly Bahrain, Egypt, and Iraq. He served as a missionary in Arabia (1891–1905) and Egypt (1913–1929), founding the American Mission Hospital in Bahrain. He later became a professor at Princeton Theological Seminary (1930–1937). He mobilized many Christians for missions among Muslims and edited The Moslem World for 35 years.

Johann Leonhard Dober (1706–1766) was a German missionary and one of the pioneering members of the Moravian Church’s mission movement. He is best known for his mission work among enslaved Africans in the Caribbean. He Joined the Moravian movement led by Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf. They were even willing to sell themselves into slavery if necessary to preach the Gospel. But white slavery was prohibited. He became a leader in the Moravian Church and served as a bishop.
